hi,

this may seem like a basic and dumb question but i cant get this calculation at all!
cash flows are -100, -20,0 and142.64

Key strokes:

-100 g CFo
-20 g CFj
0 g CFj
142.64 g CFj

f IRR

i have a hp and i have entered it as above but i cant the ans!!Help

the ans on cfai reading 6 pg326 is 6.28

try using f->clx function to clear all registers before you enter the inputs.

with those inputs - IRR on HP does come out to be 6.28%.
