For a CFA level II Candidate , which career option can lead to better chances of climping the Corp ladder---either towards CFO, VP Finance, CEO etc??

well if it's CEO, you definitely want experience in the part of the firm that makes the most money and has best growth potential. That's likely where they'll grab their CEO candidates if done internally.
