but you are talking different things... please realize.
the sample exam is the multiple choice PM test sample.
the 2010 exam posted is the actual AM exam with the "CFA" guideline answers.
both have their own independent and mutually exclusive usefulness.

CP - You haven't realized that the sample questions are taken from PAST AM and PM CFA exams. They are offered in multiple choice because it is easier to provide the answers on the spot compared to an essay format. The sample questions usually cover the same study sessions, such as Ethics, GIPS, Fixed Income, Alternatives, Economics, and Equity sections.
Last year's AM section will be most closely aligned with the current curriculum since it did not change significantly. The sample and old questions are usefull for time management and to assess your material retention.
By the way, the curriculum can be tested during the morning and/or afternoon. Last year, Fixed Income and Derivatives were tested on both sections. Good luck!
