A $100,000 face value, 10 % bond (5 year bond), make semi annual interest payments . The bond yields an effective interest rate of 8%.What is the selling price of the bond? Then answer is 108,111 (selling at premimum). How is this calulated.

FV = 1,000
PMT = 50
I = 4
N = 10

Calc PV = 1,081.11
