An analyst gathered following info about company ABC's common stock:

1 Jan 2007, 180,000 shares outstanding
1 Jun 2007 60,000 shares issued
1 Aug 2007 2-for-1 stock split
31 Dec 2007 480,000 shares outstanding

To calculate EPS for 2007, ABC's weighted no of shares outstanding close to:

A) 215,000
B) 420,000
C) 430,000

1/1-> 180 * 12/12 * 2 = 360
6/1-> 60 * 7/12 * 2 = 70
Total 430

should be 430
