I am a financial jounalist and keep getting calls from headhunters these days offering me writing jobs at financial institutions. The most recent one is a RFP manager position at a top tier asset management company. I know that it is going to be a tough task for me to find interesting positions in the financial industry and writing job could be a step stone. But I am not sure if I can stand such a boring job...
Any thoughts? Thanks!作者: Swanand 时间: 2011-10-9 12:07
Sounds like you'll be cutting and pasting canned responses. If they pay well enough could be easy money.作者: Palantir 时间: 2011-10-9 12:13
sure it could be a stepping stone. get to work with relationship management, biz development, performance, compliance, product management, etc.
if it was in NYC an entry level RFP guy would prob be paid 60-75k + 10-20k bonus.
could lead to a biz development/product management role which would pay quite nicely作者: dirk01 时间: 2011-10-9 12:19
Thanks. If it can lead to a BD role, then it is worth a try. I will speak to them next week to find out more, will keep you guys posted.
