Does anyone know of a way to get a better discount on the Schweser materials than the 10% off that they are currently offering? I was in an MBA program for level 1 and they gave 50% off or something for college students. I'm now on level 2 and not looking forward to spending $900 on a study package.作者: morebeans 时间: 2011-10-13 05:12

I suspect "international edition" translates to "counterfeit."作者: wilslm 时间: 2011-10-13 05:28

They better be counterfeit. I'll be really ticked if the ROW can buy legit materials for a fraction of what Schweser charges US residents.作者: Howd 时间: 2011-10-13 05:34
International textbook editions are a real thing: U.S. publishers often print softcover editions of their textbooks in India for the south asian market. When I was in school, we saved big bucks by importing these versions, generally for half the price of the US hardcover edition of the same book.
Schweser doesn't do "international" editions though: there is only one edition for the entire world. When you see users selling "international" editions of Schweser texts on ebay etc, they are really selling pirated copies -- though for obvious reasons, the sellers can't be upfront about this.作者: thecfawannabe 时间: 2011-10-13 05:39
The main thing that I wanted was the videos and the Qbank. Ebay can't really help me there and, when those are purchased separately, you might as well have bought the entire package. Even though the Qbank isn't the best, it gives me something to keep me refreshed on the topics when I get bored at work and have reached the end of the internet.
