hi guys - i was hoping some of you seasoned folks would be able to advise me on what this role (swaps bookrunner) actually is. i know it's a support role but any insight on what the daily tasks/responsibilities are?
thanks in advance.作者: cv4cfa 时间: 2011-10-13 16:01

i'm guessing it would be making sure everything is booked correctly, if its a BO gig. as in trade capture.作者: bkballa 时间: 2011-10-13 16:23
does not sound like a job, looks to be a role a bank plays in some type of ECM/DCM issuance
i think it differentiates the book runner of an issue, with the b/r of a hedge -- convert and call option, or offshore vanilla and cross-currency作者: hw0799 时间: 2011-10-13 16:28
Bookrunner a BO role ? Isn t bookrunning actually the auction process of pricing an instrument , I.e. gathering info on the demand when issuing ? I thought bookrunning was central in capital markets.
