You will have the following skills and experience: * Educated to degree level in Computing or an equivalent subject * Very strong C++ programming skills and ability to write efficient code * Excellent English language skills * Experience of MFC and STL * Development and debugging with Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 * Strong problem solving skills * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel * Producing and executing test specifications * Ability to work within a widely-distributed team
Experience with any of the following would be a distinct advantage: * Localisation with MBCS encoding as well as UNICODE * Programming for Windows Vista * Writing Microsoft Access SQL queries * Process automation software (PLC/SCADA) * Multi-threaded software development * TCP/IP and UDP programming with WinSock * Visual Studio 6, Visual Studio 2003
