Job Description PTS (Proposal Tracking System) is a web based tool used by HP Open Source Review Board to manage and review all Open Source Software proposals. As a key role in a global R&D team, you will be fully engaged in each phase of software development process including requirements analysis, system design, implement and testing. You may be responsible for maintenance, quality and performance assurance of system software products. Fixing defects and adding new features are also part of your work by good communication both in oral and written English. Furthermore, innovation is a key as you design and develop major functional components. You will review requirements, specifications, and designs to assure product quality and will develop and implement plans and tests to ensure product quality and performance assurance.

Qualification Education Bachelor (undergraduate) degree or above majoring in Computer Science or related fields
Experience required (MUST): . Have practical experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle. . 2+years on software development and able to drive assignments from design to implementation . 2+years of Perl or PHP programming experience . 1+years of Javascript programming experience . 2+years Web development experience . 3+years of Linux or Unix project experience. . 2+years in international company and global team
Knowledge required (MUST): . Knowledge of software engineering in software development, and familiar with related tools, developing models, methodologies . Knowledge of Open Source Software communities, licensing and culture . Solid skills of Web development . Solid skills of Perl or PHP based on Linux . Solid skills of Javascript and AJAX . Fluent in both written and spoken English
Knowledge (Would-like-to-have): . Experience with QA or testing work . Knowledge of open source project development
