BASIC FUNCTION
Under the direction of CFO, the FC is responsible for all accounting and internal control functions. He/She supervises accounting staff and acts as a backup for CFO.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures the submission of all required financial reports to WHQ and APAHQ on a complete, accurate and timely basis.
2. Monitors accounting systems and activities of the accounting section to ensure optimum performance with adequate control and comply with the legal requirements and approved accounting standards.
3. Monitors EDP activities in respect to accounting matters to ensure effective and adequate internal control.
4. Ensures the smooth operation of ERP by keeping proper books and records.
5. Define clearly responsibilities of the each accounting team members and review regularly their performance.
6. Continuously assess team members competences and abilities in respect of their jobs and responsibilities. Proposes to CFO for all the possible promotion or transfer of his/her team members.
7. Review tax (VAT, IIT and etc.) provision on regular basis (with the assistance of Treasury Manager.
8. Monitors all inter-company billing activities, remittenance, reconciliation of receivables and payables and assists to ensure adequate funding for daily operation and timely payment.
9. Reviews and updates all loss provision, accruals, reserves, etc. and send to CFO for approval, if necessary.
10. Leading the write-up and continual reviews and processes of all revisions to the Company Financial Manual and Policy. Ensures the consistence of the Company Financial Manual and Policy with Financial Manual and Policy.
11. Preparation for country Internal Audit.
12. Conduct IACR (accounting cycle) and prepare rectification action plan.
13. Internal control compliance and diagnosis.
14. Spot auditing of the Companies (including branches) compliance with P&s, accounting, reporting and controls.
AUTHORITY
Authorizes and approves all accounting vouchers and entries.

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
1. Ensures financial data, analysis and reporting are prepared in accordance with Company Policy, GAAP and legal requirements.
2. Timely, completely and accurately prepare the financial statements for management review.
3. Monitor and motivate his/her team members for accomplishing their assignments in professional manner.
PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
1. Collaborate with other department heads to collect all necessary information for the financial reporting.
2. His/her team members.
3. Finance team members in the branches.
CANDIDATE PROFILE OR QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
University graduate; major in finance.CPA is must.
Experience :
Minimum 5 years experience in accounting or finance manager position for a multi-national company.
Language :
Effective communication in both spoken & written Chinese &English
Computer Skills :
Proficient, especially with database &spreadsheet
Others
Good analytical skill
Self-motivated and be able to work independently as well as to withstand work pressure
