<50% ethics, fixed income
I just came here to complain and feel better about myself. I must have really bombed ethics to not pass I guess. Do you think they won’t pass an individual if ethics is completely bombed? I’m ready to take this test down next year though!作者: RoastBeef 时间: 2013-8-16 11:11

Band10complainer… I’m surprised you didn’t pass. I failed band 9, only less than 50% in Econ, 50-70% in everything except FRA where I was 70%+.
I’m annoyed because I’m the only one at my job who didn’t pass level II and I know I put in more work than at least one other person. Just not sure what to do from here : (作者: troymo 时间: 2013-8-16 11:12

I think you would have passed if you got 51-70 in ethics. It is hard to pass with <50 in ethics, it is possible but you have to do GREAT in everything else. If you look at scores posted there were some who passed with very poor ethics but they did very well in other areas. If you had equity >70 you may have passed even with your ethics score. Feel you, that sucks, I recommend qbank for ethics and get mp3 on soft dollar and ros and listen to them over and over.作者: yodacaia 时间: 2013-8-16 11:13

I have passed the exam with <=50 in ethics, quant, deri and corp-fin, although I have 70+ in the rest. So i don’t think bad performance in one/more sections matters as long as u manage to get the overall above the MPS.作者: noel 时间: 2013-8-16 11:13

Is it possible to jump from band 9 last year to band 2 this year? I don’t understand-but suspect something somewhere went wrong somewhere!!! Especially after feeling pretty confident after the exams….hell no!!!作者: segalm 时间: 2013-8-16 11:13

50-70% - CF, Deri, Ethics, PM
<50% - AI, FI, QM…
Need some motivation for next year!! Are you guys planning to give it another shot?
