CFA sample exam里的一个题，就是一个非资金借贷的公司投资债券的现金收入是作为经营活动还是投资活动？答案是投资活动现金流量。可是按照教材精神，美国准则下难道不是所有现金收入都作为经营活动流量的么？

pay attention here the question askes the ACTIVITY. it is an investment activity just as you mentioned above,and the cash received is recognized as CFO indeed.however you have confused with the activity and the cash flow.

1.先邻居析什么是Statement of Cash flows 中的CFO和CFI:

a.CFO (Cash flows from operating activities经营活动)---

   Cash receipts from customers

   Cash paid to suppliers and employees

   ...

b.CFI(Cash flows from investing activities投资活动)---

   PPE(PROPERTY, PLANT & EQUIPMENT)

   Investment(Securities, Bond)

   ...

2. 分析问题：

a.　题中“非资金借贷的公司”主营业务是什么？－－－是除以“资金借贷financial related businesses”为主营业务以外的一切公司。可以是retail如“沃尔玛”，可以是ＩＴ公司如“Ｙａｈｏｏ”，也可以是“全聚德”、“小杨生煎”（餐饮服务业）等等。

b. 那么“沃尔玛”（非资金借贷的公司）从买卖Ｙａｈｏｏ公司债券获得收入的行为是什么活动呢？－－－是投资活动　Investment(Bond)

3. 答案：CFI

该题其实就是在考学生是否了解资金流量表Statement of Cash flows的结构与科目，了解，熟悉，理解会计报表的结构与科目的组成部分对回答有关Financial Statement analysis 部分的题目有至关重要的意义。
