1.Other than for stock dividends and stock splits, shares issued enter into the computation from the date of issuance.

2.Shares issued after a stock split must be adjusted for the split.

2 isn't true, please refer to page 66 book 3.

A stock split isn't applied to any shares issued or repurchased after the split or dividend date.

1 can be sloved by example on p66.
