It depends .
If firm sells receivable to a SPE which neednt be consolidated , it will decrease the recievable on balance sheet and increase the operating cash flows. it is a off-balance item
If firm sells receivable based on its book value , it will not impact the ebitda,for such transaction does not influence the operating profit. |
