    I am applying for Toronto Society. I think you'd better find a reference from local society that you are applying for.
    Just got approved from CFAI. Emailed Toronto Society about the timeline. They told me there will be a committee meeting in early September.

    Yes, I submitted all my working experience, which is several months longer than required, in case some of them may get discounted. My previous supervisor is CFA member of Toronto Society. You can find the suggestion from CFA website. Supervisor's reference is preferred... The website doesn't require to have a CFA member though. I dont know how important it'll be to have a CFA reference.
