Agree with Edward. The girl who passed level 1 without a calculator could have won a lottery too. To be honest, I don't believe her story. The calculator is one of the most important things for level 1. AIMR emphasizes this again and again. Even if it was true, you simply cannot expect you will have the same luck. For most people, 250 hours are the minimum. Please think twice before you make your move.
