..不记得原题是什么...但是我觉得下面这段话可以解释到，我表达不清楚，但题目应该是这个意思吧

 

书上这样写的:

 

"the media is important becausethe arithmetic mean can be affected by extremely large or small values。When this occurs, the median is a better measure of central tendency than the mean because it is not affected by extreme values that may actually be the result of errors in the date ."
