2 days into studying...just graduated a few weeks ago so I am officially unemployed. Not the worst timing in the world- allows me to give my first attempt at level II a solid shot. Procrastinated last year and had to cram Level I into four weeks of studying after school got out for the semester in early May. I'm a pretty good test taker but after reading about Level II for quite some time now I've had to snap out of it and get into the grind.
I'm on reading 16 in the Econ section (nothing bad, so far). I majored in finance with a minor in accountancy. Looking real hard to get a Jr. Analyst position somewhere for Equity Research. Had a few interviews but always get beaten out by those with experience (that's why I'm aiming for Jr. Analyst position instead of Associate Analyst....I figure they may hire an entry-level candidate for the Jr. position).
Plan is to complete Econ then go onto Corp Fin. I want to start out with topics that contain very few formulas so I don't forget that much before the exam. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks! |
