optional or not literally, familiar, material, reading, items

I don't get it in chapter 10, page 42, regret, hindsight bias, self attribution bias, etc are int he "optional" reading segments, and aren't mentioned in the LOS. But read the chapter summary, and "it mentions items form that section, specifically advisor relationships, hindsight bias, etc...The "optional' material is literally the meat of what the summary says be familiar with...

So is it or is it not optional? Pick one...
