Thank you for sharing this good article with all of us. Thinking independently is a very important habit. It's very hard to change Chinese' natural born thinking habits, although some may be different, they have to face the challenges from surroundings.

Personally speaking, I feel Chinese students, especially from China, are very smart, but could not co-work well with others. Most of the people I met would like to show themselves more and take all credits without sharing with team. This is also very dangerous because 在家靠父母 出外靠朋友. Could you advise?
