Job searches, applications, interviews, etc... are so incredibly random. I've had interviews with JPM, GS, and MS for virtually the same exact positions with lower tier/boutique firms for which I didn't even receive a courtesy email ding. Jobs are funny.
Luck is 50% of the battle. Maybe HR is an alum of your school, they're in a good mood one day, they share your passion for Jai alai, etc... |
