I know what question you guys are talking about and I could not get the correct answer to save my life. I spent two hours the day before the exam working those specific problems. I had earmarked that particular question to come back to once I had worked through the rest of the exam. I spent 15 minutes scratching my head over that silly question.

If there are errors in the exam then I am sure that the CFAI will find them. I am just theorizing, but I would imagine that on any given question maybe 50% of the candidates get the question right (Maybe they actually knew the answer, made an educated guess, or simply flat out guessed correctly). I would imagine that the CFAI has threshold limits for each question and if 80% of candidates missed the question then that would raise red flags immediately. Here's to hoping.
