How much do they change from one year to the next? studying, register, access, material

So I passed level 1 in June, but don't finish undergrad until December. They won't let me register for level 2 yet, so I can't get my material. I have a friend that ordered the level 2 books from 2009 on ebay and have access to them until I graduate. Will it be worth my time studying a few of the sections or does it change enough from year to year?
