| I don’t think it has a direct impact on risk tolerance. If you want to bequest a certain amount you may need to increase your return to get there. Higher return would command higher risk but it does not influence the risk tolerance which is based on liquidity needs, age, portfolio value and more than anything: willigness to take risk |
