I believe the correct calculation was provided as
[29K (NOI) + 20K (Capital Gain) 45K (Interest payment)] (.75) (1t)
=(49K45K)*.75 = $3000
ROE = 3000/50000 = 6%
Usually the principal amount should have been subtracted from $3000 but there are no means to calculate the principal amount here and the solution ignores it too. |
