I took my GMAT in Dec, scored a 720.

VERY different than the CFA L1. I would say the trick to the GMAT, due to the Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT) format, is to focus on questions in the range you are falling in. Focusing on easy questions if you are consistently in the 700 range is a waste of your time; you will only get a handful of questions and will be moved into the tougher brackets quickly.

I liked the Princeton Review and Veritas. If you are scoring over 700 on the free practice exams and Princeton Review, go ahead and use Veritas. If you are consistently scoring below a 650, I would not use Veritas as it is geared towards the difficult side.

I was accepted into NYU Stern (I'm doing the part time program as my employer is paying for it) for this fall. I am particularly pleased with that as it is convenient for me and I like the school.
