just to share my perspective, I am a yankee technology div guy, but after 8yrs in s/w development I dont think i will be ready to move to other domain and start from scratch. I know techies in the bank who have completed all three levels but cant use the charter due to the experience fulfillment issue, but they are very effective in their work and are the bridge between the FO and core techies..
