When we pay more than the proportion of the book value in Equity method, we have to account for additional depreciation.
Example is from page 18 in Schweser notes:
Why are we deducting the entire depreciation from the net income of the investor rather than amount equivalent to Depreciation(1 - Tax Rate)? |
