I did not mean to imply that I was trying to time the market at a bottom with a brilliant trading strategy though I can see how it came across that way. My bad. My purchases today were planned in advance for other reasons and I was glad to get good prices. "Buy stocks like toothpaste - you are glad when the price goes down".

I'm not discounting your risk assessment and am reading through it right now. Thanks for posting.
