I have a similar strategy. I read through all of the schweser material starting with the books that are most heavily weighted. As I finish the readings, I do the EOC's for both Schweser and CFAI. Once the entire book is finished, I will work two 120 Q practice tests over the course of the next week or two. On the weekends I also will make smaller practice tests on the books I have read to keep that material fresh in my mind. I will maybe work 60 question tests each week on the material covered on top of my normal reading. Worked well for me on level 1 and this is my first attempt at level 2 so we shall see...
