Think it's a good play now.

For less risk try TBF which is single short 20-year. Leveraged play is a tough for a long period of time. Because of daily target of 2x inverse return the leveraged etf's may not do a good job of tracking over the long term and should be more of a shorter term play.

If you have the cash, it is wiser to put double the money into the single short than to buy the double short. But you should be willing to hold long term as rates have to go up long term but could obviously keep falliong short term.
