I passed on 2nd try. I would stick with pure CFAI books. First time I used schweser, it's risky, because the topics heavily emphasized were not on the exam.

There are no shortcuts to L2, it's a big dragon. You have to know everything, or risk being slaughtered.

I remember my 1st attempt, some accounting formula (had 5 variables), was asked 5 different times in the 120 questions (AM and PM). That's 4% of the exam!
