Ethics question into, only, difficulty, question, correct

I have a question for L2 re-takers. Are the Ethics questions basically on the same level of difficulty as L1 or do they they try to get trickier? To me, it seems the only way they could be harder is to get more into the gray areas. Would this be a correct assumption?
