I don't think it appropriate to use the designation before CFAI's email indicating that.

 

Actually I saw from other website that CFAI will start awarding charter on and after Sep 1,2010, according to the latest email communication.

I e-mailed CFAI about this a few days ago...here was their reply:

Dear TheChad,

Thank you for contacting us with your inquery. The 2010 charters will begin being awarded on September 01, 2010. You will receive an email notifying you once your charter has been awarded and at that point you can begin to represent yourself as a CFA charterholder.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us again.

If someone submits your case to CFAI then investigation will start.After investigation is done,there will be official report issued regarding what type of action you will encounter.

 

But if no one submits anything and you don't disclose this voluntarily,I think you will just be fine.

 

it seems to me you have already had a conclusion there. So why bother asking?
