L2请问关于Net fixed investment investment

有一道题在算FCFF时要自己算Net fixed investment.

答案里给出的算法是：

Net fixed investment = (期初PP&E - 期初折旧) - (期末PP&E - 期末折旧) + 期末折旧

 

我不明白为何最后要加上当期折旧呢？

网上搜了一下说 Gross fixed investment = Net fixed investment - Depreciation，这又是什么意思呢？
