You can create a composite any flippin' way you want. They have recommendations on how you should do it, but you can do it any way you want.

Can't include CMBS, REITs which follow the General Provision with the real estate composite.

REITs are distinct from those the other listed option - so that was fine. I guess the question is, how do you value real estate for GIPs?
