L1 June 2012 only, registered, planning, material

Hi,

I am new to this group and am planning to appear for L1 in June 2012. I have yet to registered myself on the CFA website, as they have not started taking applications for June 2012 yet.

Is there any way to get the study material for June 2012 even before registration? Or is it that the material is sent only when I block a seat for the exam? How does it work guys.

I have SchweserNotes 2011 CFA Level1, published in 2010 by Kaplan Inc.
Is this the right edition if I plan to take CFA L1 in June2012 or is there a newer version of it?

The study material for jun 2012 will be released end of july 2011

I know 5 months is sufficient time, however I have other commitments too.

I wish to first go through the study material first and then decide if I will be able to target for Dec 11.

Hence wish to know if i can get hold of the books from CFA even before blocking a seat?

Don't want to be in a situation where I block the seat and waste the money.
