The mysterious MPS is hidden by the score matrix. I think 2012 MPS required around 75 correct answers or more but less than 80 and this year it must be significantly higher, say 80 correct answers or more which translates to around 70% of possible points. The popular 40/60/80 is flawed. A better way is to use the <=50%, <=70% and >70% to calculate the correct answers in each topic and you must round it to integers. e.g. if in 24 questions topic you get 50< and <=70%, you calculate the low end, high end and mean of them. so it’s 13, 14.5, and 16.. After calculating for each topic sum them up and get total low, mean and high. This is still flawed because each person may swing their correct answers in the range in the same direction. In extrem cases one may pass with low number and another may fail with high numbers
I noticed some passing matrix and some band10 matrix are very close, some band 10s look even better.
