Consumer stocks -- what do you guys read?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to ramp up on some consumer names as part of my internship, and I'm wondering if anyone here can recommend some good blogs or trade rags relating to the consumer space.

Personally,I will try to get my hands on anything with good macro insights given the tie-in with consumer discretionary, so I spend a fair amount of time on Barron's. I will also read TechCrunch from time to time for insights into hardlines. Lastly, both hardlines and softlines are widely covered by equity research analysts so I will read sell-side reports.

If there are any other dedicated free publications that you guys can recommend, I'd be grateful to hear people's thoughts. In particular, I'm interested in how and where people generate ideas in mid-cap and small-cap consumer stocks.

seekingalpha is a good place to generate leads for blogs.

RetailMetrics was always pretty good as a source of SSS and trends in the space.

Annual reports, DEF-14A, etc . . .

Once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
