E-Readers & Schweser

So, we know books are so pass

Not sure if this will help or if it is going off on too much of a tangent...

I have a scanned version of the Schweser materials in PDF form. I use them on my Kindle 3 as well as my computers.

For my Kindle, I use a third party operating system/software on my Kindle called Duokan (originally developed in Chinese but includes English now) to help display PDFs on my Kindle. It does help a bit with the resolution, but it is still a tad too small and I have to read it in landscape mode with the text somewhat close to my face. The PDF is basically a document with images, not text so it is harder to manipulate. This method is great because it is a compact read that lasts a long time on battery.

However, the reading experience is much better on my MacBook Pro or desktop computer. You can read at a much better resolution and the contrast is much better.

If you want to compromise, get a tablet computer— iPad, PlayBook, Samsung Galaxy. The reading experience will be the best that way.

But I bet you're thinking how to get the Schweser notes in electronic format. Unfortunately I do not believe that they offer them electronically. However, I cannot speak for other study guides. I'm sure some of the others must be offered electronically.
