which book to read first

I am a newcomer to the Level III forum. Can anyone advise me on which book I should starting reading first for the June 2010 exam? I'm definitely leaving Ethics and Quant to the last few months because those topics have a very short shelf life in my brain.

I appreciate your input!

i am a bit amazed that the anonymity and lack of consequences that message boards give allows people to say things they would never say to someone's face.

No way!! I thought I was the only one following this strategy, except I also factor in the daily high/low temperature and % relative humidity in London.

My strategy is very simplistic and predictable. I think of my favorite number (which happens to be 7) and I start with that SS. If your favorite number is greater than 18, instead of doing that SS, do that reading. If your favorite number is greater than the amount of readings, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you can divide that number by your second favorite number and start with that one. Works for me.

i start with odd study sessions, prime numbers first, then do even sessions in reverse order, except for numbers 8, 10 and 12, which i select from a lottery, then move on to the remaining odd sessions that are not prime numbers, which are selected based on the stages of the moon

I do not think the newbies realize that at L3 there is burnout.

Im starting at the beginning and finishing at the end. wash rinse and repeat.

I always skim the books initially and find one that seems the most interesting and start with that. It helps me get in the studying groove when I'm interested in the topic.
