Sample Exams difficult, contain, previous

First sample exam: 61%

Anyone else find these overly difficult? A bit of a setback as the tests contain some item sets that have been on previous exams...

So did everybody find these pretty bloody hard? I've passed all of the Elan mocks and the CFA Mock (low 70's so only just) but the two that you paid for are really hard. I got 61% and then 65%. Totally rocked my confidence coming into the last week. Just wondering what other people thought. And yes agree on too many stupid mistakes but so many of those questions were out to really test your detailed knowledge.

sample 2 - 80%

Too many stupid mistakes on the first sample, esp. Equity.
I think I've to practice a lot more.

ok after getting crushed by sample 1, 66% in sample 2 sounds decent. But yes still gotta work to reach 75+

First attempt for both samples I scored:

Sample 1 = 50%
Sample 2 = 58%

Going to buy them again and hopefully score higher.

doesnt sample 2 includes questions from last yr exams? Portfolio and econ section seemed to b from last yr real exam

What is the point of taking a mock with notes?

I plan on taking mine today but I def. hope I can crack something in the 70's.
