Job Description
Position: Manager, External Growth, Asia Pacific
Location: Shanghai, China
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Manage new acquisitions, buy-out and post-merger-integration projects, including (1) identification of potential targets based on strategic criteria and business needs, (2) contacting and negotiating with third parties or existing partners, and (3) developing financial models and business case to secure internal approvals, including interacting with internal functions such as finance and commercial as well as business units/breweries, working with external advisors such as investment banks, accounting firms and law firms.
? Assess JV and growth issues facing the China/Asia business as identified by the Asia Pacific HQ
? Provide regular, concise monitoring of key competitive and regulatory activity; in addition, provide issue-oriented ad-hoc analyses of key competitive issues facing the China/Asia business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
? Bachelor degree in business or finance from a top Chinese or overseas university. MBA is a plus
Experience:
? Experience in financial valuation, strategic planning and/or marketing
? Ideally, totally 5 plus years’ experience in management consulting, investment banking and/or strategic planning/business development at a leading consumer packaged goods company
? Experience in operational management or Mergers & Acquisitions a plus
? Understanding of the culture and business practices in China/Asia
? Resourceful and intelligent in developing and analyzing data
