Unfortunately this was offset by the increase in monies spent on hookers to cover the lack of drunk girls found while going out.

Think about all the money saved by not going out during the past 6 months...
that should more than out weigh the cost spent on exam...

I know I saved thousands and thousands by not going out, not playing golf, etc...

$700 to CFAI
$450 Accounting Workshop
$350 Hotels
$300 Airfare

~$1,800 all in

Will get reimbursed for some of I pass. The sample exams are a huge waste of money imo. I bought one last year and it was such a joke that I swore them off forever.

Agree about samples.
Did you do Schweser Live Mock?

TOP

$0. company paid for everything.

TOP

The registration fee was about $1000. Then $900 spent on a Schweser study package and $100 later on their flashcards so it's about $2100.

But if I passed my company will reimburse everything (as did in level 1)

$2500 all in, but get fully reimbursed if I pass, (fingers crossed for a pass and new laptop)!

Cost of calculator and pencils is it so far thankfully....Scholarship from local CFA chapter for level I and level II (first)....my employer paid for level II, second try.

I think local CFA chapter scholarships are very underutilized...or I assume so because I applied on the last day two years in a row and got it.

I only use CFA material....
