Can you chew gum / bring water? during

nervous habits i have i.e. chewing gum during mock exams.... is this allowed on exam day?

I'm certain gum is not allowed -- for that matter no food of any kind is permitted in the hall. Logically, can you imagine the guy next to you chewing?

Lozenges were allowed when I took the exam. I had a persisent cough. Just be quiet about the wrappers.
