Could someone tell me what is meant by fund manger relationships under the independence and objectivity section in ethics?

Members and candidates that work in a capacity for HIRING or OVERSIGHT/RETENTION of fund managers should be extra careful to not receive gifts or benefits (travel, entertainment, perks) that may be perceived as swaying judgement (independence and objectivity).
Just as with anything else: make sure you independence and objectivity is maintained in all decisions and dealings with fund managers (or anyone for that matter). Each opportunity or sponsored event must be measured on a case-by-case basis by that litmus test.
