Equity Income in Parent Company will be taxed? one, understand, investment, already

Hi,

I have one unclear point about equity income.

I understand that if a company B using equity method for investment in Company A.

equity income = '%Share owned on Company A' x 'Net Income from Company A'.

--------------

This equity income will appear in Income Statement of Company A. Will this equity income be taxed again (note that is already been taxed at company B)?
